The standard powertrain for the 2025 Kia Seltos is the brand’s 2.0-litre Nu Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine, mated to an Intelligent Variable Transmission. Generating 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque, this efficient powertrain delivers fuel economy figures of as low as 7.5L/100km. Drivers who opt for the upper-trim SX and X-Line models can expect a more powerful 1.6-litre turbocharged gas direct-injected four-cylinder engine. Mated to a traditional 8-speed automatic transmission, this engine generates 195 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
All but the entry-level Kia Seltos LX FWD and EX FWD models come equipped with an intelligent all-wheel drive system that delivers added traction and confidence while out on the road.
