The 2024 Kia Sorento retains its rugged, muscular bodylines, and adopts a sleek new front end design. The modernized Kia logo sits prominently at the centre of the 2024 Sorento’s redesigned tiger nose front grille, and is flanked by a truly distinctive LED daytime running design. Depending on the model you choose, LED fog lights, LED tail lamps and bridge-type roof rails and all-terrain tires are also available.

All but the entry-level 2024 Kia Sorento LX model come equipped with the brand’s venerable 2.5-litre gasoline direct injected (GDI), turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Mated to a wet-type eight-speed dual clutch transmission system, this powertrain combination delivers a respectable 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. For drivers looking for maximum efficiency, the 2024 Sorento LX model comes fitted with a naturally aspirated variant of the same 2.5-litre GDI engine that produces 191 horsepower, 181 lb-ft of torque and returns a combined fuel economy figure of 9.4L/100km!
For those looking to hitch a trailer onto their Sorento, the entry-level LX and EX models are rated to tow up to a maximum of 907 kg or 2,000 lbs. Mid-trim X-Line, X-Line Limited and X-Pro variants receive a slightly higher maximum tow rating of up to 1,588 kg or 3,500 lbs, more than enough for a medium sized boat or compact trailer. For those looking for the most towing capacity possible, the range-topping X-Pro model features reinforced engine internals and suspension tuning, allowing for an impressive maximum tow rating of 2,041 kg or 4,500 lbs!

Acting as the focal point inside the Soento’s redesigned interior cabin layout, this large touchscreen display houses the vehicle’s connectivity features, highlighted by the standard Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ functionality. Entry-level variants pair this large centre screen with a 4.2-inch TFT driver cluster, while upper trim models receive an upgraded 12.3-inch TFT driver cluster.
All but the entry-level Sorento LX model come fitted with a wireless charging pad that keeps your devices fueled up, with the added bonus of removing the temptation to use your phone while on the road. The available all-new full digital rearview mirror allows you to switch the traditional mirror into a digital projection of the area behind the vehicle, removing any obstructions from inside the cabin from reducing your field of view.
Move forward with confidence with 2024 Sorento’s available Advanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist feature. This advanced system uses radar sensors to detect a potential front-end collision and can automatically apply the brakes in a handful of circumstances.
